One double-ended dread is folded at installation and creates two visible ends. For example, 20 DE pieces create approximately 40 visible ends.

Double-ended extensions are folded at the middle and braided into your own hair at the roots. One DE piece gives two hanging ends, adding volume without needing twice as many attachment points.

They can be installed at home with careful sectioning or by a professional braider. Avoid excessive tension at the roots, especially around delicate hairlines.

Wash the scalp and dreadlock roots gently approximately every 7–10 days with shampoo foam or solid shampoo. Rinse carefully and let the extensions dry thoroughly.

For this wavy boho set, separate the loose curls gently with your fingers. Avoid aggressive brushing, tugging and high heat, which can damage synthetic fibers or disturb the wave pattern.

For sleep, gather the hair into a loose braid or use a satin cap / long durag to reduce tangling and friction.
