Brushable curls are meant to be brushed gently with a wide-tooth comb or fingers (start from the ends).
If curls start getting fluffy, use a tiny amount of regular hair gel: rub on your palms and smooth over the curls to bring them back together.
For sleeping: loosely braid the set or wear a satin cap / long durag to keep the curls neat.
