Why? These are twisted fake dreads and they create friction. Loose curls can frizz and tangle faster when mixed with twisted dreads, so it becomes a high-maintenance set.

This becomes a high-maintenance mix because twisted dreads can make curls frizz faster.
To keep curls looking nice, gently separate with wet hands and smooth with a tiny amount of gel if needed.
